AndyTach.com was founded by the end of 2009 by Mr. Andy Vachon, a Mechanical Engineering student from the Université de Sherbrooke.

His main purpose with this website was to develop and merchandise a digital tachometer both reliable and affordable. The first tachometer was developed for an atv,school project (Baja SAE) and for chainsaws. Even before the foundation of AndyTach.com, people started to spread the word about Andy's tachometers and it wasn’t very long before people begin to use the tachometer on different applications like airplanes, watercrafts, etc. That was an opportunity for Andy and his device to try his tachometer in any weather condition!
